Washing instructionsUpdated 2 months ago
Wash your ooia products once before using them for the first time.
For period underwear, it is best to wash out the absorbed period blood by hand in cold water after wearing before washing.
Please do not use a dryer, bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the products and even reduce the effectiveness of your period underwear. Dry cleaning can also damage your ooias.
Washing cycle and temperature
Set the washing temperature to 40 degrees Celsius on the easy-care cycle. This allows your ooias to be cleaned effectively without damaging the delicate materials.
We recommend washing your ooias together with similar colors. You can wash our Feel Dry Top directly together with similarly colored laundry.
The right detergent
To protect the high-quality materials and at the same time ensure optimum hygiene, we recommend using a gentle detergent, e.g. a wool or color detergent without bleaching ingredients, citrate or citric acid. Our ooia Care washing concentrate, which was specially developed with KAËLL, is ideal: it is deep-cleansing, particularly skin-friendly and specially designed to protect the materials of your ooias and keep them in the best possible condition.
Only in a laundry net
To protect the high-quality materials of your ooias in the best possible way, we also recommend putting them in a laundry net such as the ooia Washbag before washing.
This protects your period underwear and other ooia products from rubbing and prevents them from getting tangled or damaged during the wash cycle.
Drying ooias correctly
Please do not use a tumble dryer, but simply leave the ooias to air dry on a washing line or clothes horse.
Ironing is taboo! As soon as your ooias are dry, you can wear them again straight away. Cleaning is therefore very easy!
