It is also very important to us to avoid waste along the entire supply chain wherever possible. For example, it is common for sewing factories to pack the finished products in plastic packaging - we have completely eliminated this at ooia.

In Germany, one person's menstruation generates an average of 12,000 tampons of waste over the course of a lifetime. These discarded tampons in turn take hundreds of years to decompose in landfill sites. And then some of them turn into microplastics, which then flow into the groundwater - and about which environmentalists are already sounding the alarm.

However, the functionality of some materials in ooia period underwear will deteriorate over time. Therefore, you should not use an ooia period panty for more than 2 years as menstrual underwear.

The absorbency of the ooia nursing bra does not diminish. If treated well, the material is protected and retains its absorbency.

The ooia everyday underwear can be used indefinitely, just like normal underwear.
